I recently saw a thread and wanted to make a Pyro Change List for if the Heavy Update ever comes out.

Before anyone says ''uuu you're just a salty spy main who hates pyros and think it should be nerfed to the ground'', I am a pyro main, and I equally hate pyro as much as the next guy. I find him fairly unbalanced, so I made this post. Also yes, this post does contain a lot of nerfs.
First of all, afterburn should be nerfed on all flamethrowers. 4 damage per tick is too much, imo.
Maybe make afterburn do 25% less damage or let the afterburn damage decay after some time, like maybe 4 dmg for 3 ticks, 3 dmg for 3 ticks, then 2 then 1 etc, but Degreaser still does 1 dmg per tick.
Secondly, w+m1 should be nerfed, maybe like 10% or something reduced active flame damage? idk.
I also see a lot of backburner users who do not let go of their left click. The backburner also feels like a crutch for me since you basically get free crits anytime. Because of the guaranteed crits like the Back Scatter, maybe it can have less total damage to force the user to flank or ambush the enemy, rather than running into someone head-on. Or maybe make it do minicrits instead of regular crits without the damage nerf. If you wanna have consistent flame damage, Stock and Phlog is still here.
Coming back to the afterburn, the flares applying max. afterburn duration is stupid imo. Who would burn you more, a flame spraying machine that can cover you in flames in just a few seconds, or some hot ball thingy?
The flares' afterburn duration or damage could be reduced by 25 percent. just spamming the Scorch Shot for example, down a choke point can take most of the weak classes in the team down very easily.
Talking about the Scorch Shot, it's basically a weapon for people who can't aim very well, but if you can't aim really good with the Flare Gun, the SS basically outclasses the flare gun. The guaranteed crit punch damage really doesn't mean anything if you can't aim. Scorch shot on the other hand, has too big of an explosion radius, can hit someone again after a direct hit on a player and somewhat is a rocket launcher that does 20 damage. The knockback is okay imo, but the explosion radius really needs to be fixed.
Also we need airstrafing with the thermal thruster please Valve either by making us able to airstrafe with the TT or maybe give us a Melee that maybe allows better airstrafing while detonator jumping or using the Thermal Thruster.
Here is an idea for its stats, you can change some stats or maybe find a name in the comments, idk:
[+] 20/30% Faster deploying speed
[-] -30%/-40% Holster speed
[+] Allows better airstrafing while detonator jumping or using the Thermal Thruster
(This part is up for debate:)
[+] Crits while detonator jumping or flying with the Thermal Thruster
[-] -35% damage

[-] 20% Damage vulnerability while active
So this was all I could think of that could make Pyro a more balanced class, with the addition of something like the Market Gardener for Pyro.
